Gianluca Giacometti
III Dan Aikidō Aikikai Foundation
Gianluca Giacometti began practicing aikido in 2004 under the tutelage of Maria Rosa Valluzzi at Tsuki Kage Dojo, which at the time had just been established.
In his first year of practice, he was already attending seminars organised by Tsuki Kage Dojo with Stéphane Benedetti, Malcom Tiki Shewan and René Van Droogenbroeck (VDB) and, in 2007, he attended a seminar led by Nobutoshi Tamura.
He has assiduously followed international seminars with Stéphane Benedetti since 2010. Since they first met, Gianluca has felt that he and Stéphane Benedetti share a common vision of aikido, and Stéphane Benedetti remains his main point of reference.
Meeting Hiroshi Ikeda in 2015 was of particular significance for Gianluca, who believes that Ikeda’s teaching complements that of Stéphane Benedetti.
In 2016, he began to explore other influences, all while keeping a steady course of study. He has since attended seminars with Yoshimaru Yamada, Hiroshi Tada, Takeshi Yamashima, Toshio Tanimoto, Hayato Osawa, Leo Tamaki, Nuccio Iuculano, Yuji Sato e Paolo Salvadego.
He has been Assistant Instructor to Maria Rosa Valluzzi at Tsuki Kage Dojo since 2017.

Giancarlo De Marchi began practicing Aikido in 2003 at the Yamabushi Dojo, Padova, run by Bruno di Loreto and Enrico Bernardi of the Aikikai Italia association.
In 2005, he started to train at Tsuki Kage Dojo under the tutelage of Maria Rosa Valluzzi, thanks to whom he became familiar with the teachings of Tamura N. Shihan’s school, Shumeikan. At this time, he began attending annual seminars organised by Tsuki Kage Dojo with Stéphane Benedetti, Malcolm Tiki Shewan and René Van Droogenbroeck (VDB).
He has attended various seminars in Italy organised by instructors in the Shumeikai association, including Lorenzo Trainelli, Daniele Romanazzi, Gaetano Fetonti, Andrea Pozzi and Daniel Leclerc. Outside of Italy, he has attended seminars with Stéphane Benedetti, Malcolm Tiki Shewan, René Van Droogenbroeck (VDB), Yoshimitsi Yamada and Hiroshi Ikeda.
In 2007, Giancarlo attended a seminar with Nobuyoshi Tamura.
He has been Assistant Instructor to Maria Rosa Valluzzi at Tsuki Kage Dojo since 2017.
